How to do it

  1. Stand or sit tall with your arms relaxed at your sides and chest up.
  2. Squeeze your shoulder blades back and slightly down, like pinching a pencil between them.
  3. Hold the squeeze for a couple of seconds while you keep breathing.
  4. Relax fully and repeat for reps.

The one cue that matters

Move from the shoulder blades, not a shrug. Think back and down, not up toward your ears.

Muscles worked

The Shoulder Squeeze isolates the Shoulders — no passengers. That makes it a clean tool for adding targeted shoulders volume without extra fatigue.
