How to do it

  1. Set the cable low, face away, and reach between your legs to grab the rope.
  2. Step forward for tension and set a soft bend in your knees.
  3. Hinge at the hips and push your butt back until you feel the stretch.
  4. Drive your hips forward and squeeze your glutes hard at the top.

The one cue that matters

Push the hips back to load, then snap them forward. This is a hinge, not a squat.
