How to do it

  1. Loop a band around an anchor and your outside ankle.
  2. Stand side-on so the band pulls your leg inward.
  3. Lift your working leg out to the side against the band.
  4. Return slowly, then switch sides.

The one cue that matters

Stay tall and resist the leaning. The standing leg holds you steady while the working leg does the job.
