Hinge for the posterior chain, finish with a traps squeeze.

Shrug up, not back, and pause at the top before releasing.
The hinge takes the hamstrings through their loaded stretch with the glutes powering the return to tall, then each rep is capped with a shrug and a pause at the top. Because your grip holds the dumbbells through both halves, the sets quietly become forearm work too. It is a posterior chain combo that finishes every rep completely, top to bottom, with no wasted standing around.
It caps the rep with a full, tall finish and squeezes extra work from weight you are already holding. The pause at the top of the shrug also stops the set turning into a rhythmic bounce between hinges.
Straight up, as cued. Rolling the shoulders backward or in circles adds nothing and grinds the joint. Ears-ward, pause, then lower with control before the next hinge.
That is the exercise telling on your grip, which is worth training, but do not let it cap your leg work. Chalk up, or split the difference by doing your main RDL sets straight and keeping this combo as a lighter, higher-rep finisher.
