How to do it

  1. Stand side-on to a cable, gripping the handle at your chest with both hands.
  2. Step out to load tension and brace your core.
  3. Press the handle straight out in front of you.
  4. Resist the cable's pull to rotate you, then return to your chest.

The one cue that matters

The whole job is staying square, don't let the cable turn your shoulders.

Muscles worked

The Pallof Press isolates the Core — no passengers. That makes it a clean tool for adding targeted core volume without extra fatigue.
