How to do it

  1. Lie face up on a bench with your head hanging just off the edge.
  2. Tuck your chin slightly to start.
  3. Curl your head up toward your chest, squeezing the front of your neck.
  4. Lower slowly back down under full control.

The one cue that matters

Go light and slow. The neck is delicate, never yank or rush these reps.

Muscles worked

The Lying Neck Curl isolates the Core — no passengers. That makes it a clean tool for adding targeted core volume without extra fatigue.
