How to do it

  1. Lie on your back with both knees bent, feet flat.
  2. Cross one ankle over the opposite thigh, just above the knee.
  3. Reach through and pull the bottom thigh toward your chest until you feel a stretch in the crossed glute.
  4. Keep your head and shoulders relaxed on the floor and breathe.
  5. Hold, then switch sides.
