How to do it

  1. Loop a band around your thighs just above your knees and step forward into a lunge.
  2. Lower until both knees reach about 90 degrees.
  3. Pulse up and down a few inches at the bottom, fighting the band the whole time.
  4. Drive back up to standing, then switch legs.

Push your front knee out against the band so it never caves inward during the pulses.
