How to do it

  1. Loop the band over the bar and place one foot or knee inside it.
  2. Grip the bar overhand, shoulder-width, and hang at full stretch.
  3. Pull your chest toward the bar, letting the band assist the bottom of the rep.
  4. Squeeze at the top, then lower under control.

The one cue that matters

Still pull with your back, the band assists, it doesn't do the rep for you.
