Squat on the wobble and own the chaos.

Slow it down and grip with your feet, control beats depth on an unstable surface.
Squatting on top of the dome makes your quads do their usual job of controlling the descent and driving the stand, but on a surface that shifts under both feet the entire time. Your glutes assist the drive and work with your feet and ankles to keep you centred over the dome. It earns a place for balance, ankle strength and squat control rather than raw leg size, which is why slower, cleaner reps beat depth chasing here.
Not compared to loaded squats on the floor, and that is not the goal. This version trades load for balance, ankle work and control, so use it alongside your normal squatting, not instead of it.
This exercise is done standing on top of the dome. It challenges your feet and ankles directly and is the standard way to squat on a balance trainer with just bodyweight.
As deep as you can while staying centred and controlled. A half squat you own beats a full squat that turns into flailing, depth can grow as your balance improves.
