How to do it

  1. Set up in a plank with hands close together, directly under your shoulders.
  2. Keep your elbows tucked tight to your ribs as you lower your chest down.
  3. Stop just before your chest hits the floor.
  4. Press back up by straightening your arms, squeezing the triceps at the top.

The one cue that matters

Elbows brush your sides the whole way. Flared elbows steal the work from your triceps.
