Roll out the tight pecs that pull your shoulders forward.

Stay off the bone and the shoulder joint, target the soft muscle and back off if it gets sharp.
Angling the roller under one side of your chest lets you sink slow pressure into the pec near the shoulder, tissue that pressing sessions and desk hours both leave short and stiff. Propping on the free forearm means the lean is adjustable, so the depth of pressure is always your call. Rolled before push days, it helps the shoulders sit back where pressing wants them.
Before pressing sessions as part of the warm-up, after heavy chest days, or as a desk break when your shoulders creep forward. Little and often beats one long monthly grind.
A small ball against a wall is more precise for pinpoint spots, the roller on the floor covers the broader muscle faster. Both are valid, this version trades precision for coverage and comfort.
A minute or so of slow passes with pauses on the obvious tight spots is plenty. You are prompting the tissue to relax, not tenderising it, so stop while it still feels good.
