How to do it

  1. Stand with your back flat against a wall.
  2. Slide down until your thighs are parallel to the floor.
  3. Keep your knees over your ankles at 90 degrees.
  4. Hold for time, pressing your back into the wall.

The one cue that matters

Keep your weight in your heels and your thighs at a true 90. Don't slide back up early.

Muscles worked

The Wall Sit isolates the Quads — no passengers. That makes it a clean tool for adding targeted quads volume without extra fatigue.
