How to do it

  1. Lie on your back, one knee bent with foot flat, the other leg extended straight.
  2. Brace your core and keep your hips level.
  3. Drive through the planted heel to lift your hips, keeping the free leg in line.
  4. Squeeze the glute at the top, then lower under control. Switch sides.

The one cue that matters

Keep both hips level the whole rep, don't let the free-leg side dip down.
